Take the YEEZY 700 V3 — its wedge-like shape has its origins in performance runners, though its details and construction give it a look that’s far more other-worldly.

The latest version, dubbed the “Fade Salt”, is typical of Ye’s avant-garde approach to footwear, with a combination of a gradient-effect Primeknit uppers, cage-like, glow-in-the-dark TPU overlays and an exaggerated sole unit.
